The team
Small team. Full stack. Skin in the game.
Axiom Point is run by the people who write its code and bear its risk. Everything the research depends on — capture, storage, compute, execution — is built and operated in-house.
Founder · Research & Infrastructure
Shiloh Trowbridge
Shiloh builds the full stack behind Axiom Point: tick-level market-data capture, GPU-accelerated research pipelines, the risk engine, and the execution audit. His work sits at the intersection of market microstructure and machine learning — real-time systems that turn every listed-derivatives print into research-grade data, and research loops fast enough to interrogate all of it.
His engineering background runs to enterprise scale — production data infrastructure for financial services on multi-node, GPU-dense systems, with the same discipline carried into life-sciences data problems. He is also the author of Shannon-Cortex, an open-source long-term memory engine for AI coding agents, and writes Macro Musings, an occasional series on markets and macro structure.
How we operate
A partnership, not a product team.
Axiom Point operates as a tight partnership of engineers and traders, with collaborators across data infrastructure, derivatives, and execution. The strategies trade partner capital first — we sit in the same seat we ask any allocator to sit in.
No unaudited claims
If a number appears in our materials, there is a record behind it that can be examined. Claims that cannot be audited do not get made.
Automation over heroics
The pipeline heals itself, audits itself, and pages a human only when it loses. Reliability is engineered, not willed.
Small by design
Every layer of the stack is owned by someone who can rebuild it from scratch. Headcount is not a proxy for capability.
